  1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We collect and use your personal information, including your sensitive personal information such as images and information of you and your family, location information, call records made through the camera, and purchase and consumption records of the camera, as described in this policy. The purposes and uses for the collection and use of these sensitive information are detailed in the descriptions of the functions below. Leakage, illegal provision, or misuse of sensitive personal information could harm personal and property safety, leading to damage to personal reputation, physical and mental health, or discriminatory treatment, among others. Therefore, we will encrypt and store the sensitive information you explicitly agree and actively provide, in compliance with technology standards, to ensure the security of your personal information. If we obtain your personal information indirectly through other channels such as sharing, transfer, or collection of publicly disclosed information, we will inform you clearly beforehand and only collect the minimum amount of information necessary to achieve the business functions of the product or service. Moreover, we will also ask for your explicit consent before collecting and using your information. At the same time, we will ensure the legitimacy of the source of information collected and understand the authorization consent obtained by the personal information provider, including the purpose of use, consent to transfer, share, and publicly disclose. If our business-related personal information processing activities exceed the scope of this authorization consent, we will obtain your explicit consent within a reasonable time after obtaining the personal information or before processing it.
The details of the purposes and uses of collecting and using your information are as follows:

(i) To realize the main functions of the camera

Core functions are the basic functions that support the normal operation of the APP and provision of services. If you do not consent to the collection and use of your personal information necessary to provide you with our services, you will be unable to use this product.
Collecting information through account registration. When you create an account on iCam365, you need to provide us with your email address or phone number. The phone number or email address you submit will be used to receive verification codes when you register, log in, bind accounts, or retrieve passwords, and will serve as one of your designated contact methods to receive business notifications (such as new feature launches, service notices/changes, etc.). You can modify your avatar and password through "Mine -> Account Management." When you cancel your iCam365 account, we will stop using and delete the aforementioned information or anonymize your personal information, except as provided by law.
Binding smart hardware devices. After logging into the APP, you can connect and bind with smart hardware devices via sound wave induction. To realize the binding of the APP and smart hardware devices, we need to collect your location information (to get the WiFi list), WiFi network information, the state of smart hardware devices and mobile phone switching on/off and connecting to the network, smart hardware device model, mobile operators, mobile operating system and version, handset model, and local storage space of your mobile phone. The above information will be uploaded to iCam365 company servers to prevent anyone other than yourself from accessing and managing the smart hardware devices, better ensuring the security of your information. You can unbind smart hardware devices and delete all personal information related to the devices through "Settings -> Unbinding and Deleting the Camera" or "Settings -> Unbinding and Deleting the Doorbell."
Viewing footage captured by smart hardware devices. After binding smart hardware devices, you can view live and recorded video footage through the APP. You can also save videos locally or share them with friends through third-party applications. When sharing videos with friends through a third party, we will not obtain any information about your third-party application (including account information). When your mobile phone is connected to a WiFi network, logged into the APP, and has either purchased the "Cloud Recording" service or has a memory card inserted, you can view and manage the history video records of smart hardware devices through the APP's "Cloud Recording" and "Card Recording." When you use the "Cloud Recording" service and your intelligent hardware device is turned on and connected to WiFi, we will encrypt and upload all videos recorded by the device to iCam365 company servers, achieving synchronization across different devices and protection of video files, which will only be retained for 7 days. If you use the "Card Recording" service, the videos recorded by the smart hardware device will only be saved locally and not uploaded to the iCam365 server. Please note that the videos recorded by smart hardware devices may record facial features of yourself, your family, or third parties. To protect the privacy of all parties, please fully understand your responsibilities, obligations, and rights as well as ours when installing, using, and managing smart hardware devices through the APP. Videos from smart hardware devices are important private information for you and your family; if uploaded, we will strictly encrypt and store them on our servers, and will not use them elsewhere or share them with third parties.
Controlling smart hardware devices. After binding smart hardware devices, you can control the function services of the camera through "Camera -> Settings" in the APP, including camera naming, service scenes, activating stay alarms, tamper alarms, do not disturb at home, smart home watching, family albums, or control the function of the doorbell through "Doorbell -> Settings," including doorbell monitoring range, activating stay alarms, tamper alarms, do not disturb at home, and receiving push messages related to the doorbell. When you activate the do not disturb at home function for smart hardware devices, you need to authorize us to obtain your phone's MAC address to confirm that your phone and the smart hardware device are in the same WiFi environment. The information you set and provide will be uploaded to our servers as instructions to control the smart hardware devices.
Doorbell's call function. When you miss or do not receive a doorbell call message in the software, the doorbell will notify you of related doorbell information by sending an SMS to your phone number. SMS service is technically supported by telecommunication operators. To realize this function, we need to share your bound phone number with telecommunication operators. To ensure timely detection of phone calls and ensure you have received notifications related to the doorbell, telecommunication operators will save corresponding call records and recordings. We will require telecommunication operators to strictly encrypt the upload and storage of such information to ensure the security of your information.

(2) Additional Features of the iCam365 Smart Camera

Additional features refer to service functions that are neither core nor third-party features, and they require your proactive choice to enable their use. If you do not enable these features, we will not collect your personal information. Also, you can close the additional features following the paths mentioned below; after closing, we will no longer collect and use your personal information, and it will not affect the use of the core functions of the APP.
Screenshot and Recording. This function allows you to take screenshots while viewing videos recorded by the camera. You can view the screenshots and photos in the "Album" on your phone locally. Your screenshot recordings are uploaded to the server to enable synchronization and viewing on different devices. We will not use your screenshot recordings for any other purposes, nor share them with third parties.
Motion Detection. We will recognize images captured by smart hardware devices to provide alerts for motion detection and ensure the safety of family and home. You can view the motion detection alerts and related footage captured in front of your smart hardware device (especially the doorbell) within the past two days. Also, you can choose to enable or disable notifications and motion detection in the camera settings.
Sharing Smart Hardware Devices. You can share smart hardware devices with friends by using WeChat, or by inviting friends through their phone numbers. When you share the smart hardware device's QR code with friends via WeChat, we will not access any information from your WeChat account. When you choose to invite friends by phone number, we need your authorization to access "Contacts Permission" to share the smart hardware device with contacts selected from your address book. We only locally read your address book list to choose contacts for sharing. This information will not be uploaded to the server nor shared with third parties. If you refuse to grant permission, you won’t be able to select contacts from the address book, but this will not affect your ability to share by manually entering the contact's phone number. We encrypt and upload the phone numbers you provided for your family members to our servers to enable the sharing of smart hardware devices via phone invitation.
After your contacts are invited, they can view the real-time footage recorded by the smart hardware devices and all alarm message records at any time. You can manage the list of family members invited in "Settings -> Share."
Network Speed Test. To ensure your phone and smart hardware devices are connected to the same network, we test the network speed of your phone using the public interface of the phone's system and provide you with feedback on the results to help you understand the network speed of your smart hardware devices. During this feature's implementation, we do not collect any personal information related to you, and you can choose to close network and data in the camera settings.

Please note that enabling any permission implies that you authorize us to collect and use the relevant personal information to provide you with corresponding services. Disabling any permission signifies that you have withdrawn your authorization, and we will not continue to collect and use the relevant personal information based on that permission, nor will we be able to provide you with the corresponding services.
